Competition Process
Phase One: Creation Phase
Submission Period (Beijing Time): July 14, 2025, 20:00 (GMT+8) - July 31, 2025, 20:00 (GMT+8)
The organizer will publish the assigned songs, along with the audio files (.ogg) and template charts (.mc).
After downloading the template chart, participants must create their charts using the in-game editor within Malody.
Creation Guidelines:
- 1. Use the "Create Chart for Song" function, do NOT directly modify the template chart. Delete the template chart promptly to avoid accidentally sending the wrong file to the Organizer.
- 2. Difficulty level and creator name fields are optional and can be left blank or default, as codenames will be used for subsequent judging.
- 3. Charts with excessively high or low difficulty levels may face potential judging bias.
- 4. Do NOT change the audio file or background image used in the template chart. Unauthorized changes will prevent the chart from loading correctly in later phases.
- 5. Chart style must be 2-finger, speed changes (BPM changes) are allowed.
Once creation is complete, please email the chart file to the Organizer (see Submission section below).
Important: Do not disclose the chart you created to anyone else before results are announced.
Phase Two: Judging Phase
Judging Start Time (Beijing Time): August 1, 2025, 20:00 (GMT+8) onwards. No fixed end date (generally does not exceed two weeks).
Phase Three: Results Announcement
After the judging phase concludes, the organizer will announce the competition results. Anyone can view the results in the in-game News section or on the official website. Rewards will be distributed to participants.
Submission
Submission Requirements
- After the assigned songs are published, participants must create their charts using Malody's in-game editor. If using another editor (e.g., ivm), convert the chart to Malody's native format (.mc) yourself. The organizing committee is not responsible for issues caused by non-.mc formats.
- Key No. must be 4K.
- Only one difficulty for one song is allowed per participant.
Important: Only one submission per participant is allowed. Subsequent submissions or modifications will be ignored; only the first valid submission will be considered. Please double-check your chart before submitting.
Submission Method
- In the body of your email, clearly state:
◇ Your intention to participate.
◇ Your Malody UID.
◇ The song you created the chart for.
- Attach the chart file (.mc) or chart package (.mcz) to the email.
- Send the email to the Organizer(Backend)'s email: 1157610458@qq.com
- Your submission is only considered successful after you receive a confirmation reply from the Organizer.
- To maintain contact with the Organizer, please check your email periodically for updates.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. How to export the chart?
- If your client version is 5.0 or above:
◇ PC Users: The chart file (.mc) is usually located in the game root directory /chart/_song_xxxx (where xxxx is the SID of the assigned song). You can directly open the song directory to find it. Alternatively, you can export the .mcz package and send it as an attachment.
◇ Android Users: The chart file (.mc) is usually located in the phone root directory /Android/data/me.mugzone.emiria/files/chart/_song_xxxx (where xxxx is the SID of the assigned song). Alternatively, refer to the iOS method below to export and send it from within the game.
◇ iOS Users: Within the game editor, select "Menu" → "More" → "Export Chart". Or, on the difficulty selection screen, tap the pencil icon in the bottom right corner and select "Share Chart...". Then send the chart package (.mcz) as an email attachment to the Organizer's email.
Important: If a song has multiple difficulties, only keep the one you created. Delete other difficulties (like the Template or unrelated ones) within the game before sending the file to avoid sending the wrong one.
2. I submitted my entry but haven't received a confirmation reply from the organizer. What should I do?
1. Check if you followed the specified email format. If your submission meets the requirements, we will reply as soon as possible. It's possible your email was flagged as spam. If you haven't received a confirmation within 3 days, contact the Organizer (QQ: 1157610458) and state your purpose in the note.
2. Check if you entered the Organizer's email address correctly. The Organizer's email may change for each competition.
3. Check your email reception settings. In past competitions, some reply emails from the Organizer were rejected by recipients' mail servers.
3. How do I find my UID?
1. Log in to the official Malody website: http://m.mugzone.net/index.
2. After logging in, click on your profile icon/name in the top right corner to go to your Profile page.
3. The number at the end of the URL is your UID.
◇ Example: If your profile URL is http://m.mugzone.net/accounts/user/61119, then your UID is 61119.
Judging Rules
Evaluation and Settlement Method
Multiple judges appointed by the organizer will score the charts. The final score is the total sum.

Placement & Accuracy (Total 10 points, Weightage 30%)
◇ Appropriateness of note placement and timing accuracy.
◇ Rigor in hitting musical elements.
◇ Reasonable selection and expression of musical elements.
Pattern & Arrangement (Total 10 points, Weightage 40%)
◇ Effectiveness in representing melody instruments, percussion, or harmony progression.
◇ Visual aesthetics.
◇ Playability and comfort.
Structure & Consistency (Total 10 points, Weightage 30%)
◇ Presence of a clear chart structure/design.
◇ Construction of a difficulty curve suitable for gameplay progression.
◇ Alignment with the music's emotional flow.
