Introduction:

Malody Catch Cup #1 (MCC1) is a competition for mobile (PE) players using the legacy (4.3.7) client.

Two players have to join the room, using judge E only.

Overview

This is a tournament-styled division competition.

Simple rules

There are 7 songs (one/two songs from PM/alpha, and other stable scores), and we will compete on the competition PM/alpha first.

(The one with higher acc. wins.)

Each player then takes turns choosing one song from the remaining challenge songs, and we will use first to 4 wins.

Basic MODs other than FLIP are prohibited.

If both sides allow DH and RH, you can also compete with the corresponding mod.

MP Instructions:

Referees will create the room 10 minutes before the match starts.

The title for the room will be MCC1: (Player 1) vs (Player 2).

Players are allowed to select at most one chart (stable/alpha) to warm up.

The player who gets the bigger point after sending $roll in the room chat will pick the first chart for the match.

If you do not show up on the winning date and time in 15 minutes after match date, the other contender will win by default.

Mappool:

Players can find and download the charts from the shop a week before the match starts.

There will be different mappools for Qualification and Official Tournament.

6 charts for Qualification, 6+1 charts for Round of 16, Quarterfinals, SemiFinals and Final, where “+1” is the tiebreaker (TB) which will replace the unused chart at match point.

As the competition proceeds, the difficulty of the mappool will increase gradually from Lv.11 to Lv.26

Seed Deciding Match

If the number of participants is other than 4, 8, 16, or 32, a seeding match will be held.

All of the assigned songs will be competition scores.

Details will be explained when the seeding match is held.

Game Date and Time Decision

Each time, we create a private channel with the opponent on the Discord server, so we have them decide through discussion. (For reference, please see the official Malody Catch server).

Win Condition:

Accuracy and Score is considered for the calculation.

Ex: (Accuracy x 100) + (Score ÷10000)

If the score is 2,476,352 at 99.72%

Final score is 10219.

Only 24 hours before the match will reschedule be considered. Both teams have to reach an agreement.

1. In case of disconnection, the chart's score will be considered invalid. Each player can retry one time each game. If disconnection happens again during the retry, the chart will be counted as the opponent's win. If both players disconnect, the chart will be replayed.

2. A chart can only be played once during a game.

3. If a player is absent when the game starts, a maximum of 10 minutes delay is allowed. If a player disconnected during the game, a maximum of 5 minutes delay is allowed.

4. TB chart cannot be selected before reaching match point.

5. One will be banned if causing postponement multi times.

6. The match will be postponed if neither referees nor organizers are available.

7. It is forbidden to pick inappropriate warmup charts.

8. Referees will try their best to deal with unexpected circumstances.

9. All players must follow the instructions and respect others.

Prize:

Champion: 2 month nitro or $10 + Champion Banner + 10k golds.

Runner-up: 1 month nitro or $5 + Runner-up banner + 10k golds.

Third place: Third place banner + 10k golds.

Top 4-8 competitors will receive Top 4-8 Banner + 5k golds.

The rest of the competitors will Participant Banner + 5k golds.

All competitors will get special achievement.
