Purpose of the competition

Catch Chart Brawl aims to provide a platform for potential catch mappers and attract more people to write and create catch maps.

This competition adopts a dual zone format: free zone+Guest Songs zone. Regarding the competition system and other regulations, please continue reading below:

Notes on Participation

1.The maps submitted for this competition are only catch maps

2.This tournament is divided into teams, with each team consisting of at least one person and no more than two people

3.Each team in this tournament must submit at least one map per person

Submission requirements

Free Zone Submission Requirements

There is no limit to the type of song, with a minimum length of 1 minute and a maximum length of 10 minutes, and no difficulty limit. The number of submissions to the free zone cannot exceed the number of team members. You can choose not to submit to the free zone and cannot use stable maps for submission. Only Malody map format submissions are accepted.

Guest Songs competition submission requirements

Each team must submit at least one guest song submission, with a difficulty limit between 10 and 30 levels, and only accepting submissions in the form of Malody

Attention

Each song should have at least one map, Each team can submit a maximum of two free maps and two guest maps

This event can be anonymous. You can separately request anonymity from the organizer, or mark all the authors of the roster in the team as "Anonymous". However, please note that anonymous teams must be completely anonymous, and not all partial scorers can be anonymous. After anonymity, please inform the organizer of the corresponding author of the anonymous roster to facilitate the distribution of rewards after the event results are announced

Guest Songs

Event Time

Preparation Time:2025.02.01-2025.03.14，At that time, you can submit your team's map

Preliminary review Time:2025.03.14-2025.03.21，At that time, the initital review Judge will screen out unreasonable maps

Public Time:2025.03.21-2025.04.03，At that time, Malody will set up a column for this competition for everyone to view, and the judges will score during this time

Note: kanmem will live stream and play maps on DC channel at 8 pm on 04.03. Interested parties can come

Scoring Rules

The scoring method used is based on scoring maps. The total score of a team is calculated as follows: Total team score = (Sum of average map scores of the team) / (Number of maps of the team). The score of a single map is calculated as: Map score = (Total score given by judges for the map) / (Number of judges scoring the map). Here, the term "map" refers to a specific level or layout in a game or competition.

Cautions

The probition of songs: No Arcaea/Rayark/Paradigm: Reboot songs are allowed to be used to creat charts, nor the following artists: a_hisa, m108, NeLiME.

- If there is an absence, the final score will the number of attended members/the number of team members.

- If there is a report of plagiarism or use to create maps, the chart will no longer be exhibited and will receive no points.

- If the organizer reviews the chart as extremely inappropriate, the chart will no longer be exhibited.

- If you select an inappropriate song, the submissions of your team will no longer be exhibited. Penalty will be given depending on the situation. Content contained in inappropriate songs: porn, political, horror, or content that makes people uncomfortable.

Awards

• The top 60% of team rankings will be eligible for invited users. In addition, there are staff's blessings and Malody's merch
• The 1st place in total score will receive 40000 golds+Talent team achievement.
• The 2nd place in total score will receive 30000 golds+Talent team achievement.
• The 3rd place in total score will receive 20000 golds+Talent team achievement.
• The 4th - 8th place in total score will receive 10000 golds+Competitor achievement.
• The rest participants will receive 5000 golds+Competitor achievement.
