Quest songs and template charts are released, available for in-game downloads.
2. Submission

Participants choose a quest song and start chart creation. Please submit your chart on time.
3. Submitted Charts Released
Released date: Jul. 19, 2022
Submitted charts are anonymized and uploaded to the server under the organizer's account with number markings.
We will prepare lower diff stable charts for plays & references.
4. Scoring
Scoring time: Jul. 20, 2022 ~ Jul. 26, 2022
Judges score the submitted charts. Kuromaku calculates rankings for each participant.
5. Result Published
Published date: Jul. 27, 2022
Scores and rankings of Quest Match are published, still keeping the charts anonymous.
High-quality charts will remain stable after Quest Match.
Stage 2: Exhibition Match
1. Submission

On this stage, participants freely choose the song for their submission.
Those who advanced from Quest Match are qualified for Formal Group and compete for awards.
Otherwise, or if you missed Quest Match completely, Guest Group is still open to you.
We highly recommend you prepare the submission ahead of time, even if the Quest Match is not a dish for you.
You can write an introduction for your submitted chart, but it will only be published once the match is over.

3. Judging

Scores and rankings of Exhibition Match are published.
Charts in both matches are returned to the original creator; all names are published.

Let the organizer know you are for the submissions and submit the chart file to organizer.

3. Email
You can send your work and Malody ID to Kuromaku's Email ([email protected]). We will reply when your chart is accepted to the contest (might lag). Check your mailbox regularly to keep in contact.
Submission Requirements
Quest Match: chart file(.mc or .tja) only
Exhibition Match: chart file(.mc or .tja), bgm file(.ogg), cover/background file(.jpg)
The level of charts must be in Lv.15~Lv.40 on Extreme difficulty (see Taiko Chart Level Reference). The length of songs for Exhibition Match must be in 60~180 seconds.
Only these commands are available: hs (>0), ggt, bar related, bpm related commands.
The songs have been released in Taiko no Tatsujin before 2022/7/10 are forbidden.
The songs with copyright issues are forbidden. (If you don't know whether the song has copyright issue, you can contact the kuromaku)
We will reject charts that breaks any rule above.
For both matches, your chart needs to be anonymous. Don't indicate on your submission or release your submitted chart.
Scoring Rule
Quest Match: each judge gives each participant a score of 1~5. Participants with a total score of ≥17 advance into Formal Group of Exhibition Match; can be lowered to make sure as least 40% of the participants are admitted.
Exhibition Match: each judge gives each participant a score of maximum 10. For each participant, the score from all judges are summed, then cut by a half of the highest score and a half of the lowest score. The sum-reduced score will be used for the ranking.
Kuromaku also gives scores to the participants. If any judge joined the match, the score for the judge is replaced: if the judge gets rank X according to Kuromaku's score, the judge gets a score of rank X among his/her scores to other participants.
Awards
1. Achievements & Gold
All participants in Formal Group are awarded 5000 Gold.
Top 3s in Formal Group will have the "Gold Chart" Malody achievement, while a.l other participants will have the "Competitor" achievement.
This reward is passed to the Malody ID that submitted the chart, not transferable after submission.
2. Prize
In Formal Group, the top 3s excluding organizers are rewarded with cash or equivalent.
Please talk to the organizers in time for your desired way of depositing the prize (e.g. present cards); will use timely rates for other currencies.

3. Other related
After the match, admired charts in Exhibition Match will be prioritized when submitted for stable; lower diffs still need to be provided by the creator.
The top 3 in Formal Group and top 1 in Guest Group will gain a temporary seed pass for the next MTMC.
Afterwords
We encourage participants to discuss with others during the match, and take this event as an opportunity to polish the skill of chart writing.
Wish everyone follow the competition rules and avoid encountering conflicts with others.

The organizers will have the final interpretation on the rules and schedules of MTMC.
